Lucio Pedercini officially launched his 2017 project this weekend, with Alex De Angelis at the helm. The Team Pedercini Racing SC-Project will race with the Kawasaki ZX-10R once again, as De Angelis joins the Italian team for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship season ahead.

With a fresh design and fresh take on the competition they are set to take on, the launch was well recieved amongst fans and experts alike. Anticipating bringing a strong fight this season, De Angelis will hope to build on his podium tally after he made his debut back in Lausitzring in 2016 with former team - IODARacing. Pedercini Racing are dedicated to making a strong impact to the WorldSBK class, and their pre-season testing regime will be the first step towards this.

Alex De Angelis:

“I'm really happy I have found a really competitive bike as well as a motivated team with whom I have already started to work for the first race. We have already planned, for the next few weeks, some tests that will help me understand how to approach the first race in Australia at the end of February.
